Letter: You go, Cacho

I read the guest commentary on Sunday by Pat Cacho, who I know and respect.
I wholeheartedly agree. I cannot understand how the Collier County School Board would want additional members, because they can’t solve the problems they have now with the existing board members.
It should be noted, the board has created many of the education problems they are now facing, including the most obvious being Dennis Thompson.
I believe it’s time for the Collier community to voice its disgust by writing, calling and then voting to help make the changes so needed. As Cacho stated, “No board member has exhibited the slightest idea of philosophy of education that is essential for providing vision” for our children and for our hard-working, dedicated professional teachers!
